The Development of Greek Shipping Dynasties, London 2014 

CEDAR, in cooperation with www.allaboutshipping.co.uk and with the support of the Hellenic Centre has hosted the workshop focusing on “The Development of Greek Shipping Dynasties: Succession across Generations”. The 2014 workshop was held at the Hellenic Centre in London and participants represented in addition to founders and successors in multi-generational Greek firms, a number of other stakeholders and services providers serving from London the shipping industry. The 2014 Multinational Finance Society Symposium, held in Larnaca (Cyprus) on 4-5 April 2014 which was co-organised by Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) and supported by UCLan Cyprus and CEDAR faculty. The Symposium brought together over 120 academic researchers, educators, doctoral scholars, practitioners and policymakers representing academic and financial international institutions to address timely financial issues and research pertinent to the recent financial and economic crisis.                                                                    International Family Enterprise Research Academy, Cyprus 2009 

The 9th IFERA 2009 World Family Business Research Conference held in Limassol, Cyprus was chaired by CEDAR chair and director and focused on ‘Global Perspectives on Family Business Developments’.
