Family leaders are protagonists in supporting entrepreneurship in family businesses and business families. They are institutional entrepreneurs with the commitment to facilitate the renewal of the business model and governance structures which is essential for sustainable family business success and prosperity for all stakeholders.

 

The central theme of 14th EIASM Family Firm Management Research Workshop is ‘Entrepreneurial Families across Generations’, but we welcome research papers and case studies with a focus on broad range of thematic topics addressing the principles and practices of entrepreneurialism, not restricted to:

 

  • Entrepreneurial family firms across stages of development and generations
  • Entrepreneurial cooperation between and within families in business
  • Family leadership and sustainable entrepreneurship
  • Family values and family business entrepreneurship
  • Financing family entrepreneurship
  • Socio-emotional dimensions of family entrepreneurship across generations
  • Family dynasties and governance
  • Innovation and family business entrepreneurship
  • Policy and support mechanisms at macro and enterprise level.

 

In addition to featuring state of the art research papers and case studies, the workshop will offer keynotes and enterprise forum. An optional cultural tour of Cyprus will follow after the conference.
