Youth Consultation with the President of the House of Representatives

The Centre for Entrepreneurial Development, Alliance and Research organized with great success, at the framework of the Erasmus+ European Program Key Action 154 – “Youth Participation Activities in the Youth Sector” and especially in the context of the Project entitled: “Consultation between young people and Policymakers”, the 1st of a Series of 14 Open Dialogues with Youth on Political issues and their involvement with the local community. The opening action of open dialogue was led by the President of the House of Representatives, Mrs. Annita Dimitriou. Mrs. Dimitriou had the opportunity to discuss her personal experience with young people her engagement with the commons, as well as the reasons that prompted her to select this choice. The young people, under the guidance of Mrs. Dimitriou and the members of the CEDAR , had the opportunity to discuss their concerns regarding the impact that their engagement with the public, political and democratic life in Cyprus, but also the ways in which they can be involved in them. The young people, coming from areas of the Provinces of Larnaca, Famagusta and Nicosia, responded enthusiastically to the invitation of Mrs President to seize the opportunity and deal with issues that concern society and their generation both in the community and at a national level, through the actions organized by the Parliament of Representatives, but also through their participation in the political parties that better represent them. The action took place at the premises of the UCLan Cyprus University on Tuesday, March 21

Youth Consultation with the member of the Cyprus Parliament, Mr Charalampos Theopemptou

The Centre for Entrepreneurial Development, Alliance and Research organized with great success, at the framework of the Erasmus+ European Program Key Action 154 – “Youth Participation Activities in the Youth Sector” and especially in the context of the Project entitled: “Consultation between young people and Policymakers”, the 2nd of a Series of 14 Open Dialogues with Youth on Political issues and their involvement with the local community. The opening action of open dialogue was led by the member of the Cyprus Parliament, Mr Charalampos Theopemptou. Mr Theopemptou had the opportunity to discuss his personal experience with young people his engagement with the commons, as well as the reasons that prompted him to select this choice. The young people, under the guidance of Mr Theopemptou and the members of the CEDAR , had the opportunity to discuss their concerns regarding the impact that their engagement with the public, political and democratic life in Cyprus, but also the ways in which they can be involved in them. The young people, coming from areas of the Provinces of Larnaca, Famagusta and Nicosia, responded enthusiastically to the invitation of Mr Theopemptou to seize the opportunity and deal with issues that concern society and their generation both in the community and at a national level, through the actions organized by the Parliament of Representatives, but also through their participation in the political parties that better represent them. The opening action of open dialogue was led by the member of the European Parliament, Mr Costas Mavrides. The Centre for Entrepreneurial Development, Alliance and Research organized with great success, at the framework of the Erasmus+ European Program Key Action 154 – “Youth Participation Activities in the Youth Sector” and especially in the context of the Project entitled: “Consultation between young people and Policymakers”, the 5th of a Series of 14 Open Dialogues with Youth on Political issues and their involvement with the local community. The opening action of open dialogue was led by the president of the Platres municipality, Mr Panagiotis Papadopoulos. Mr Papadopoulos had the opportunity to discuss his personal experience with young people his engagement with the commons, as well as the reasons that prompted him to select this choice. The young people, under the guidance of Mr Papadopoulos and the members of the CEDAR , had the opportunity to discuss their concerns regarding the impact that their engagement with the public, political and democratic life in Cyprus, but also the ways in which they can be involved in them. The opening action of open dialogue was led by the European Commissioner in Health and Food Safety, Mrs Stella Kyriakidou. Mrs Kyriakidou had the opportunity to discuss her personal experience with young people her engagement with the commons, as well as the reasons that prompted her to select this choice. Mr Koutsoftas had the opportunity to discuss his personal experience with young people his engagement with the commons, as well as the reasons that prompted him to select this choice. The young people, under the guidance of Mr Koutsoftas and the members of the CEDAR , had the opportunity to discuss their concerns regarding the impact that their engagement with the public, political and democratic life in Cyprus, but also the ways in which they can be involved in them. The action took place at the premises of the UCLan Cyprus University on March 22nd.

Youth Consultation with the First Operator of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, Mr Constantinos Georgiou

The opening action of open dialogue was led by the A’ Operator of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, Mr Constantinos Georgiou. Mr Georgiou had the opportunity to discuss his personal experience with young people his engagement with the commons, as well as the reasons that prompted him to select this choice.
